Meet our instrumental program tutors
Our Music Department is committed to offering a high quality Music education with the support of our team of accomplished Peripatetic Tutors. We cater for those who have music experience and those who are keen to learn a musical instrument for the first time.
Guitar/Bass/Drums - Ian Weggler
Mr Ian Weggler is a German born, Geraldton raised musician and has been gigging and touring in a multitude of different acts since he was 17. He plays lots of instruments but has mainly focused on being a singer and songwriter since the pandemic hit. Mr Weggler has had several different mentors over the years, in a wide variety of styles, the most notable of whom was Jackson Guitars endorsee and Berklee College of Music alumni David Davidson, from the American progressive metal band Revocation. He loves all styles of music, loves writing his own music, and has been fortunate enough to support bands like Birds Of Tokyo and Jon Stevens (Noiseworks, ex-INXS.) while playing his own songs. Mr Weggler used to teach guitar for a brief period when he left school but has since learned so much more about tuition and music in general. He is exuberantly excited to help students at Nagle down their own paths of music! |
