MATHS WEEK

In Week 7, the College celebrated Maths Week to coincide with International Pi Day (March 14 = 3.14). Our Maths Learning Area staff were busy coordinating many fun activities and competitions during Break times that highlighted different mathematical talents that our students possess. A number of activities and videos showcasing Maths were also run during class time for all students. Staff enjoyed a delicious cake on Wednesday whilst tackling a challenging maths quiz. Seeing the excitement of the students this week clearly showed Maths can be fun!

1st – Chloe (Year 9) – 119 decimal places
2nd – Taj (Year 9) – 105 decimal places
3rd – Baird (Year 8) – 12 decimal places
