YOH Youth Festival
In August, 20 Nagle students represented the school in the Act Belong Commit YOH Fest. This year’s theme was “wellness” and students created dances that embodied this message. We also had a number of short films created by students from Mrs Williams’ classes that were screened on the night.
Overall, our students performed very well and represented the school with pride. The official judging will not be finalised until the regional heats are complete later this month, however, we hope to see some of our entries represented in the Perth Finals.
In the Midwest Heat, Nagle received 8 Merit Awards for our Dance entries. These included:
• Visual Effect
• Impressive Physicality
• Wonderful, Sustained Energy
• Strong, Impactive Delivery
• A Polished Performance
• Commanding Stage Presence
• Excellent Synchronisation
• Expressive Delivery of Choreography
